Que j'ai de regret de ne pouvoir te dire adieu! Tu vois combien j'ai
de chagrin de te quitter. Adieu pense a moi, et sois sure que je ne
t'oublierai point.

Ta fille.

Tu mettras la reponse derriere le portrait du vieux Dupin[3].

pres la Chatre (Indre).

Nohant, 24 fevrier 1815

Oh! oui, chere maman, je t'embrasse; je t'attends, je te desire et je
meurs d'impatience de te voir ici. Mon Dieu, comme tu es inquiete de
moi! Rassure-toi, chere petite maman. Je me porte a merveille. Je
profite du beau temps. Je me promene, je cours, je vas, je viens, je
m'amuse, je mange bien, dors mieux et pense a toi plus encore.

Adieu, chere maman; ne sois donc point inquiete. Je t'embrasse de tout
mon coeur.
