ciples: Sit ye here, while I shall pray. (33)And he takes with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be troubled. (34)And he says to them: My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, unto death; tarry here, and watch. (35)And going forward a little, he fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. (36)And he said: Abba, Father, all things are possible to thee; take away this cup from me; but not what I will, but what thou wilt. (37)And he comes, and finds them sleeping. (47)And one of those standing by drew his sword, and smote the servant of the high priest, and took off his ear. (48)And Jesus answering said to them: Came ye out, as against a robber, with swords and staves to take me? (49)I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye did not lay hold of me; but that the Scriptures might be fulfilled! (50)And all forsook him, and fled. (51)And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men lay hold of him. (52)And leaving behind the linen cloth, he fled from them naked. (53)And they led Jesus away to the high priest; and with him assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.
