CXU VI ESTAS PRETA?

En tago la maljuna Rothschild en Frankforto venigis en sian oficejon
sian cxefoficiston, kaj demandis lin kiom da tagoj li bezonos por
pretigxi je vojagxo en Amerikon. (La firmo Rothschild intencis tie
fondi brancxbankon).

Pripensinte la aferon, la oficisto diris: "post dek tagoj mi estos
preta." "Nu" respondis Rothschild, "mi sciigos al vi se mi postulos
viajn servojn." Tiam li vokis alian oficiston, al kiu li metis la
saman demandon. "Mi vin petas ke vi donu al mi tri tagojn" tiu cxi
respondis. Tria oficisto estis vokata, kaj tiu cxi tuj kaj decide
respondis "Mi estas preta nun." Bone, bonege, ekkriis Rothschild, kaj
aldonis: "De la hodiauxa tago vi estas kunposedanto de mia nova firmo
en Sta. Franzisko. Vi forveturos morgaux matene kaj vi estas la cxefo
de la tiea banko." Tiu viro, kiu per sia preteco kaj tauxgeco, metis
