favour.
Aguardar _or_ esperar (por) alguno: To wait for somebody.
Pedir (por) una cosa: To ask for (request) something.
Preguntar (por) una cosa: To ask for (to inquire about) something.
He pagado por el cinco chelines _or_ lo he pagado cinco chelines: I paid
five shillings for it.
