o a high mountain apart by themselves. And he
was transfigured before them. (3)And his garments became shining,
exceeding white as snow, such as no fuller on earth can whiten. (4)And
there appeared to them Elijah with Moses; and they were talking with
Jesus. (5)And Peter answering said to Jesus: Master, it is good for us
to be here; and let us make three tents, one for thee, and one for
Moses, and one for Elijah. (6)For he knew not what to say; for they
were sore afraid. (7)And there came a cloud overshadowing them; and a
voice came out of the cloud: This is my beloved Son; hear ye him.
(8)And suddenly, looking around, they no longer saw any one, but Jesus

(9)And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they
