The trade of the interior is prosecuted cautiously, and for money in hand. Political affairs are exceedingly dull and uninteresting; even the Irish repeal speakers are quiet. The progress of the pacification between Mexico and Texas, and Mexico and Yucatan, is slow and somewhat uncertain.
