de demander ou Palsgrave prend le droit de se montrer si rigoureux, et
quels typographes illustres l'Angleterre du XVIe siecle peut mettre en
concurrence de nos Verard, Estienne, Simon de Colines, Francois et
Sebastien Gryphe, Vascosan, et tant d'autres. Le moins inconnu qu'il fut
possible de leur opposer est justement ce Pynson, qui a imprime la
premiere partie du livre de Palsgrave avec quatre fautes des la premiere
page.

Reimprimer Palsgrave, c'est reconnaitre la valeur de son temoignage en
general; par consequent, il devenait necessaire de protester, lorsque,
sur un point de fait aussi important, son temoignage passionne pouvait
induire en erreur.
