The older one was protecting the younger one from knowing where they had
been when they were young ones. They both knew where they had been when

everything, both of them and every one knowing them knew everything.
That was a natural thing that every one should know everything. In a way
they were succeeding in living. In a way the older one was succeeding in
living, in a way the younger one was succeeding in living. Everybody
knew everything, anybody knowing them knew everything, everybody knowing
them knew it again and again, knew everything again and again, the older
one knew everything knew it again and again. The younger one knew
everything knew it again and again. Certainly every one knew everything.
