of shyness, "I wish you would explain to me just what you mean by
control in a stock company."

Sam Turner moved his fingers from under her elbow and caught her hand,
which he firmly clasped before he began.

"Well, Jo, it's just this way," he said, and then, quite comfortably,
he explained to her all about it.
