t aged women likewise be in behavior as becomes holiness, not false accusers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good; (4)that they may teach the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, (5)to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. (6)The younger men likewise exhort to be sober-minded. (7)In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works; in teaching, showing uncorruptness, gravity, (8)sound speech, that can not be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be put to shame, having no evil thing to say of us. (9)Exhort servants to submit themselves to their own masters, to be well-pleasing in all things; not contradicting, (10)not purloining, but showing all good faith; that they may adorn the teaching of our Savior God in all things, (11)For the saving grace of God appeared to all men, (12)teaching us that, having denied ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (13)looking for the blissful hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; (14)who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and cleanse for himself a people to be his own, zealous of good works. (15)These things speak, and exhort, and reprove with all authority. Let no one despise thee. III. PUT them in mind to submit themselves to governments, to authorities, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work, (2)to speak evil of no one, to be averse to strife, forbearing, showing all meekness to all men. (3)For we ourselves also were once foolish, disobedient, going astray, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another. (4)But when the kindness and the love toward man of our Savior God appeared, (5)not by works of righteousness which we did, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the bathing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit; (6)which he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior; (7)that, having been justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (8)Faithful is the saying; and concerning these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they who have believed God may be careful to take the lead in good works. These things are good and profitable to men. (9)But avoid foolish
